About
A personal coincidence connects me to the place: over 30 years ago, my parents met there, in a building that has since been demolished.
This biographical trace gave rise to an artistic practice that encounters the place and the people associated with it in a multi-layered way.
With the help of my camera, I developed a network of relationships between people, places, and times. Old traces were followed and new connections were made.
The exhibition provides insights into these processes of encounter, weaving together personal thoughts, photographs, film, and archive material.
At the same time, it marks the publication of the third issue of Rappaz—a magazine by and with people from Rappertshofen and the surrounding area, which was created during the scholarship.
